Dhaka, Feb 16 (UNB) – A two-day international poultry exhibition began at city’s IDB Bhaban today highlighting the possibilities in the sector to strengthen country’s economy.

Inaugurating the second such exhibition, Fisheries and Livestock Minister ASM Abdur Rab emphasised on developed technology to reach the country’s poultry standard to the international level.

Bangladesh chapter of World Poultry Science Association (WPSA) is sponsoring the exhibition.

The inaugural ceremony followed by a seminar was addressed by WPSA president Dr Peter Hunton, general secretary Dr Pit Simons and its Bangladesh chapter leaders prof MA Latif, M Abdur Razzak and Dr Kazi M Emdadul Haq.
